Zambezi Life Styles offers one of the best ways to experience the legendary Mana Pools National Park – along the banks of the Might Zambezi River. Consisting of 5 mini-Meru style tents with en-suite bathroom facilities including flush toilets and al-fresco bucket showers Zambezi Life Styles creates a new definition to ‘camping in style’ by virtue of its simple yet elegant furnishings. A main dining and lounge tent area is set up on the day of your arrival, affording you exceptional views of the river as you relax in the afternoon between activities. Renowned for its wildlife rich flood plains and magnificent views of the Zambezi River, with a dramatic backdrop of the Zambezi Escarpment mountains in Zambia, Mana Pools is a wildlife enthusiasts dream and an ultimate African safari destination. In addition, the river boasts some of Africa’s finest tiger fishing and adventure canoeing safaris.

Area Attractions

Activities include game drives, canoeing safaris, fishing and guided walks led by some of the most qualified and passionate guides in Africa. Wildlife sightings include lion, leopard, painted dogs, hippos, elephants, buffalo, zebra and various other plains game species. Zambezi Life Styles works well in combination with Kanga Camp to provide travellers with an overall view of the inland and riverside experience of Mana Pools National Park.

General Policies & Disclaimers

Open between 1 April and 15 November each year, Zambezi Life Styles Mobile Tented Camp is accessed via the Dandawa airstrip – a 2 hour 30 minute air charter from Victoria Falls and / or 1 hour 30 minutes air charter from Harare. Self-drive only recommended for experienced 4x4 drivers. It is a 6 hour drive from Harare and/or Lusaka. Zambezi Life Styles is not recommended for children under 7 years. Children under the age of 16 years are not permitted on walking safaris, however nature walks are offered around the camp.
