The 6 luxury thatched villa's on the Vila Do Paraiso resort are all free-standing double-storey houses with wonderful ocean views, set amongst lush tropical gardens within a fully secured 24-hour patrolled perimeter, Well-lit walkways connect the Villa's to the beachfront, which is a mere a stone's throw from their shaded wooden decks. Each villa accommodates 8 guests in 4 double rooms with en-suite facilities. Although the basic layouts of each villa are the same, each has its own special charm and setting, which is complemented with its own unique decor and some minor variations in layout. The villa's are all fully stocked and supplied with every convenience and luxury you could think of. In addition to this, each villa is serviced by your own personal Mozambiqan butler to ensure you want for nothing whilst you enjoy yourself here at Vila Do Paraiso.

Area Attractions

Vilanculos and the Bazaruto Archipelago is the area in southern Mozambique where the warm Mozambican current comes in closest to shore. The Bazaruto Archipelago is blessed with a myriad of underwater structures that hold large amounts of baitfish, which in turn attract an immense variety of migrating pelagic fish that cruise past the area throughout the year making fishing for giant king fish, king mackerel, yellow fin tuna and barracuda possible all year round- this is game fishing at its best! Fly fishing and shore fishing off the islands also make for exciting sport fishing alternatives. A dhow is a traditional Arab vessel that was introduced around this coastline as early as the 11th century. Muslim and Persian traders were the first outsiders to arrive to the area by sea and traded pearls and ambergris. The dhow boats are used by the locals for fishing purposes and, of course, to explore the tranquil waters beneath. Setting off early in the morning, you will be whisked away to any of the beautiful islands , with pointed tips jutting out from the water and rugged sails pulled taut in the breeze, the sense of the amazing history in this place overwhelms.
