This rustic tented camp has 10 on suite tents, linen, hot water, towels and a equipped communal kitchen make this camp comfortable. The bathrooms are tiled and on suite. Its a 300m walk from the beach. Each unit can sleep 2-3 people (third person can use single bed couch in unit). The bathrooms are tiled and on suite. There are braai facilities at each unit. All linen and towels are provided. The tents have electricity and plug points for your camping/freezer and fans if you want to bring it along. Each tent has cutlery, crockery and glassware (there is a breakage deposit of R500 on arrival). All units are fully serviced on a daily basis. The communal kitchen is fully equipped. For groups we are able to provide brunch/breakfast on request as well as a braai/potjiekos in the evenings. There is a fully equipped bar with general braai facilities where you can relax and socialise with your friends and family. The tented camp borders the beach which gives you a beautiful private beach within walking distance from your accommodation (300m) The local village is 1.2km from the camp. There are a number of Barakas (local bars) and 2 restuarants, curio shops, a dive centre at the campsite, you can also launch your boat/jetski from the campsite. Deep Sea fishing charters launch from Ponta Do Ouro.

Directions To Tierras Del Mar

Tierras del Mar is a 20 km drive from the Kosi Bay (Farazela) border post. Follow all the small blue and white Tartaruga Luxury Tented Camp signs to Ponta Malongane village. You will come to a '4 way stop', Blue Bulls Bar will be on your right, drive straight (keeping the lake on your left), drive past Sunset Shack Restaurant. About a 7 min drive past Sunset Shack you will see a sign on your right hand side that says Tierras del Mar, it is roughly 400m on the road towards Ponta Mamoli before you get to Wakene and after Condimino Mar Azul you will see the entrance of Tierras del Mar and all visitors or guests must report to the reception area at the front boom. We will escort them to the house or tented camp.
