Day 1: (Thu) Port Elizabeth / Graaff-Reinet (D) Travel via Jansenville to Graaff-Reinet, the oldest town in the Eastern Cape region, with many beautifully restored historical buildings lining the streets. Explore Graaff-Reinet's many attractions on foot. View the famous jointed dolerite pillars at the Valley of Desolation, with magnificent views of the town and surrounding countryside. Overnight in the Graaff-Reinet area.Accommodation: Drostdy Hotel or similar Day 2: (Fri) Graaff-Reinet / Cradock (BLD) Travel to Nieu Bethesda, a tiny village tucked away in a valley.Visit the extraordinary Owl House of Helen Martins,one of South Africa's most famous examples of visionary art (Art Brut). Visit a local farm and view San ('Bushmen') paintings, wool shed, and museum containing fossils found on the farm. Enjoy a typical farm lunch. Continue to Mountain Zebra Park, the cradle of mountain zebra conservation in Africa.
