Directions To Serena Beach Hotel

The Mombasa Serena Beach Hotel is 20 km north of central Mombasa along the main Mombasa/Malindi highway. The hotel operates a daily shuttle bus into the centre of town and there is a wide selection of taxis available. The nearest international airport is Moi International Airport, Mombasa (27km from the hotel) whilst there is a small local airstrip at nearby Shanzu.

Kenya is amazing country. I can not fordet this trip, its was one of the best impression in my life. Serena beach hotel in Mombasa is real 5 star hotel. Garden is an unforgatable. Strongly reccomend

Maisha, the spa at Serena Beach Hotel, is one of my favorites on the Kenyan coast. As a resident of the coast, I've had the opportunity to sample many different spas. As a facility, Maisha is well-maintained, spotlessly clean, architecturally interesting, well-designed, and peaceful. Its spa services are delivered with attention to detail by trained professionals who are strongly attuned to their customers' mood and desires. An afternoon at Maisha, with its complimentary jacuzzi, steam bath & sauna, is not cheap but is extremely refreshing and relaxing.

The rooms vary widely, but this is a very lovely hotel. The pool and beach are great. The best I've stayed at in Kenya.

My (now) wife and I decided to get married at the Serena Beach hotel in July 2011. Whilst I was a little hesitant to begin with (as I hadn’t even been to East Africa- let alone planned a wedding there) this was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks as did 100 of our guests and therefore were able to get a real insight into the hotel This is a Hotel, without tacky bars, gimmicky culture etc. Rather, the Serena offers a true sense of class to all its guests which begins with its design. The design of the hotel in particular is outstanding, and without knowing anything about the inherent culture of the place, you get a real sense that you are in a very unique and special part of the world. The Swahili design really works well and balanced with 5 star luxury creates an amazing combination.
