Saile Tented Camp and Footsteps across the Linyanti Walking Safaris are operated out of the same site whereby one or the other is available dependant on bookings. Located within the private Linyanti Concession bordering the western boundary of Chobe in the Chobe Enclave, the camp is set-up approximately 40 mins from Linyanti Bush Camp and Linyanti Ebony Camp. Providing exquisite views of the Linyanti Marsh waterways, the camp consists of 6 meru style tents, all with en-suite bathrooms, flush toilets and al-fresco bucket showers. A main lounge and dining room area is set up under an open marquis type tent where guests can relax during the heat of the day and enjoy exceptional views.

Area Attractions

Limited to small exclusive groups who seek a personalized experience in a private concession away from the main tourist’s routes, the area’s relative remoteness makes it a favoured wild safari destination and one of the best sought after areas in northern Botswana. Saile Tented Camp allows for guests to enjoy the wide variety of activities available at Linyanti Bush Camp which include: by vehicle, on foot, or on the water in mokoros, speed boats or pontoons. Night drives are also an option within the Reserve allowing travellers the opportunity to experience the night time predators.

General Policies & Disclaimers

The camp is not recommended for children under the age of 7 years. Children under the age of 16 years are not permitted on the walking safaris however nature walks are offered around the camp. Saile Tented Camp is seasonal operational between 1 April and 31 October each year.
