Directions To Praia do Cossa Bilene

From Johannesburg Travel to Nelspruit and then on to the Komatipoort border post. Once through the Komatipoort border post follow the road +/-100km towards Maputo. You will go through 2 tollgates, the first is +/-50km from Komatipoort, payment can be made in Meticais, Rands or US$. The second, Motola toll plaza is just before you enter Maputo and payment is preferred in Meticais. Directions From Durban (via Swaziland) From Durban, take the main N2 highway north to Zululand, past Richards Bay to Mkuze. Keep an eye for a road on the right marked Golela, this being the border post into Swaziland. From the Golela border post, follow the road past Big Bend. Take the right turnoff to Siteki/Lomahasha border post. Once through the border head towards Maputo and you will go through the Motola toll plaza. Directions from Matola (Maputo) Toll Once you go through the toll travel for approximately 2,6km and take the EN1 turn off to Xai Xai At the end of the off ramp turn left and continue for approximately 2 hours to a town called Macia where you will turn off to your right and go to Bilene Directions from Bilene to the Praia do Cossa resort Once you arrive at the town of Bilene circle please follow the following directions: From the Circle veer 1st left and travel 1 km to a “T” junction • Turn left and travel 300m (market on your left)and turn left onto a dirt road (Praia do Cossa sign present) • Travel for 1,1 km then turn right (sign present) • Travel for 200m take a left turn (sign present) • Travel 1,3 km and take a right (sign present) • Travel 1,1 km and veer to the right • Travel 1 km and veer to the left • Travel 1 km and take a right (sign present) • Travel 200m and take a left (sign present) • Travel 900m and turn right (sign present) • Travel toward entrance gate ahead

Area Attractions

Mouth-watering Portuguese cuisine within walking distance. Numerous bars and restaurants within a 3 km radius. Try out the local beer or sit back and sip on a cocktail. Be busy or do nothing at all. The town boasts two filling stations, supplying diesel and both leaded and unleaded petrol, cooldrinks, ice, snacks, long life milk and other basic items. The market offers fresh fish, prawns, veggies, fruit in season, bread rolls (pao), beer, wine, spirits, cashew nuts, arts & crafts, charcoal, frozen chicken and plenty more. It is advisable to bring your own red meat and dairy products.
