Paradise Island Resort and Spa Package

DestinationMaldives

Paradise Island Resort, the name says it all, is a luxury resort in the Maldives in a stunning location on a kilometre long, 200-metre-wide island.

The majority of rooms are Superior Beach Bungalows, which span the shoreline and offer direct beach access; some face sunrise while others face sunset. Romantic couples may want to spoil themselves by booking a Water Villa, which are located on the east part of the island on both sides of a long jetty and feature a private deck with outdoor tub.

The incredible white-sand beaches surrounding the island and the natural setting are the main drawcards. Being a large island, the resort grounds are expansive, which is great for walkers and runners. This also means that there is more space to spread out and the beautiful beaches are devoid of crowds and the calm waters are ideal for swimmers of all ages.

I had been to this resort in the month of February for honeymoon. The place is mesmerizing, this is an awesome place to be in. Stayed in Beach bunglow for 2 nights and then upgraded to water villa for a night. The experience of water villa was awesome. Pros: Service is good. there are lots of options as far as restaurants concerned. The main restaurant bageecha dishes are nice with plenty of variety. Tried Italian restaurant over lunch and was good too. Lots of other things to do like water sports, snorkeling, gym, badminton, lawn tennis, table tennis, snooker etc.. Cons: Didn't encounter any. Snorkeling trip is amazing. don't miss it. If first time, you would be exhausted. There are some good corals at the front side of the resort besides main jetty, dont miss them. Book a half board you will then have options for other restaurants.

Paradise island is meant for large groups, and not as an exotic getaway for couples. The resort sprawls all across the island, so make sure you ask for rooms that have the water view. There are plenty of water sport activities and the snorkelling is great. Food is AWESOME, with plenty, plenty of choices for various palettes! Since you are confined to the island, the food is definitely something you can look forward to. Drinks, as with every Maldivian resort are expensive (starting $5 for a beer). Don't expect much from the rooms, they are basic and functional and good for rest breaks from the beach! Overall, lots to do (all the indoor and outdoor sports you can imagine), staff is OK not excessively friendly, but that's understandable given the huge numbers of people who come into the resort every day! We were a group of 10 and we absolutely had a great time (this was my second visit to the resort).

Spent a fortnight in Paradise ( for the eighth time now ) and are still enchanted . Convenient location not far from the airport, but giving you the impression of secludedness . Clean, very well kept island, efficient and speedy roomboy , friendly staff all around and - to our palates - very tasty food !!!! Had a beach bungalow on the east side of the island , there was some renovation / upgrading going on on that side but they made every effort to do it as smoothly and undisturbing as possible - successful. If you're looking for a great lagoon to paddle , some lush scenery together with a friendly atmosphere and tasty food within easy reach of Hulhule airport , Paradise is a more than good choice .
