Pakamisa Private Game Reserve is an exclusive reserve located in Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal. The lodge offers a unique experience for guests wanting to experience the sights, smells, sounds and excitement of the African veld – on a horseback safari. Home to a magnificent collection of Arabian Horses, guests can experience the wild African Bush on horseback. The reserve is both predator and malaria-free, offering a safe environment to participate in a range of activities for adults and children, not usually available the Big Five Game Reserves.

Accommodation is offered in one of the eight Luxury Suites, offering unique Spanish architecture blended with the finest African ambience. The Main House with its collection of African and European art and antiques, is the ideal place for quiet relaxation or pre-dinner drinks. For a more intimate atmosphere, guests can enjoy a drink in the Hunter’s Bar. When one is not enjoying a game drive or horseback safari, simply relax taking in the magnificent views and enjoy light snacks and refreshing drinks beside the swimming pool.

Area Attractions

Nightly rates include your accommodation with three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and a choice of two activities per day. Choose from horse riding, game drives, guided bush walks, archery or target shooting with an air-rifle. Horse rides are restricted to 1 ride per person per day, weight limit 90kg.
