Notties, as the hotel has been fondly known by several generations of locals and passers-by who have stopped and found the spirit of the place so welcoming that they have returned time and time again and sent friends and family to try it out, has been part of the little village of Nottingham Road since time immemorial. It wouldn’t be far from the truth the say that the entire village sprang up around the beautiful old Hotel, under the management of Clive and Linda Foss. The Foss’ moved into management in May of 2005 and Notties has come into its own through their care. The Foss’ are known for their flair for hospitality and they have brought the old ambiance of Notties back for our enjoyment.
