Situated above the hustle and the bustle of the city, at the foot of Table Mountain you will find this beautifully restored Cape Colonial mansion dating back to 1852.
All eleven of our rooms are en-suite and spacious with tranquil décor of white cotton percal sheeting and Colonial furniture. All rooms have alarm radios, television, hairdryers – laundry and room service menu’s.
A feeling of home from home exists here and our guests are free to do anything that they require to. There is always assistance on hand as well. An honesty bar adds to the appeal of being able to help oneself and entertain your own friends.
We have a swimming pool and an Internet station for our guests use and also a shuttle to lift them to the various restaurants and tourist attractions which are very close by.
We are within walking distance of many amenities like the Castle, the Waterfront and the City Bowl. Being at the foot of Table Mountain, breakfast is enjoyed with a view that many can only long for.
We also offer a selection of self-catering apartments across the road from the Guest House. These are one and two bedroomed apartments, spacious and with wonderful views over the city. Self-caterers also have the option of coming to the Guest House for breakfasts
