Ponta Malongane

This house is situated on Mar Azul private beach housing estate in Ponta Malongane. It is located in the beach front row of houses. The house has 6 bedrooms, all en-suite (shower, toilet and basin). Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms with king size beds and downstairs 4 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms have king-size beds and 2 bedrooms have 2 double beds. There are also 2 loose mattresses that can be used, linen provided. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have sea views, the 4 downstairs bedrooms face the sea and have views of the natural bush. This house sleeps a total of 16 people. The house has its own private swimming pool. There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, no air conditioning. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and open plan to the lounge/living room area. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric pan, 2 fridge/freezers, 1 deep freeze. The house has no TV. There is a laundry with a washing machine, you need to bring your own washing powder with. The house is serviced daily. There is 1 compulsory staff member and a second housekeeper is optional. The staff must be paid R80 each per day. There is a weber braai, wood can be bought in Malongane Village. The house shares a beach boardwalk with 2 other houses. You can buy all your provisions at Hluhluwe or Manguzi, including meat (great butchery at bottom of Hluhluwe town). Manguzi is 10 km from the Kosi Bay border, there is a Spar Superette where you can buy dry and fresh food supplies. WHAT TO BRING - Beach and Bath towels - Toilet Paper - Cleaning materials such sunlight soap, handy andy etc - Drinking water - Food and Drinks - Dishtowels - Ice can be bought in Malongane Village - Charcoal

Directions To Mar Azul 2

From the Kosi Bay border post (Farazela Border Post) you head towards Ponta Malongane. There are alot of sandy roads so it can get confusing, but the easiest way to find Ponta Malongane is to follow all the small blue and white Tartaruga Luxury Tented Camp signs, this will lead you to Ponta Malongane. Once in Ponta Malongane you head towards Ponta Mamoli (White Pearl Resort), you will drive past a restaurant and pub named Sunset Shack, carry on driving for about 5 minutes past Sunset Shack, you will see a large black, white and yellow board on your left hand side that says 'Condiminio Mar Azul', you have arrived at the Esate. When signing in at the gate ask the security to direct you to house number 2. The keys are with the staff member at the house. The staff work from 7am to 4pm, if you arrive later than 4pm then ask the gate security to hand you the keys, the staff will leave the keys with the gate security.
