Looking for a place to feel at home, while on holiday? Leisure Lodge is the place to be. Our Easter holiday at Leisure Lodge was awesome, the staff treated us very well. Considering the many negative stories going around, that many hotels treat their own very uncouthly, i must Leisure Lodge made us feel at home, no discrimination, no racism, just great people to hang out with. We played games with the staff, and the CEO Mr. Mutua is very hands on, and gives that personalized attention that guests appreciate. For those golf lovers, the course at Leisure Lodge is top notch.... On the minor downside, the rooms are in dire need of renovation, though the the hotel acknowledged this as a renovation was due in August of that year.

Stayed for a week in January and had an excellent experience. We were in one of the rooms that had been recently refurbished and had none of the issues a few others have mentioned (indeed it sounds like they were in a totally different hotel!) The food was of a very high standard, with a vast range every night. Quiet section of beach to enjoy with security to prevent the 'beach boys' hassling us too much. Attentive staff, who remembered where you liked to sit by the pool and reserved your place the following day if asked. And wow - the view from the room was awesome. Very very relaxing - I would recommend it highly.

Great hotel with fantastic service and breath-taking beach! We stayed in one of the villas and it was paradise. You can see that there have been significant refurbishments in this resort compared to what it was just a year ago - the restos and rooms in particular. Service was superior with the waiters and management attending to our every need. Pool area seemed clean and fun but we didnt bother leaving our villa's private pool area. Food was good, great quality, fresh and good variety of indian, and continental. By far, the beauty of this resort is the beach. Stunning blue water and powdery white sand and the warm indian ocean - how can you go wrong? I'd definitely recommend this resort to anyone whether it be families or couples looking for some rest and relaxation. Enjoy a little slice of heaven in beautiful mombasa.
