The world famous tourism heritage site, the Vallée de Mai, home of the coco de mer and the unique black parrot, and also the Anse Lazio beach considered to be one of the best in the world, are within 4kms from Le Duc de Praslin. From the hotel one can arrange excursions by boat which leave from the beach to the Bird nature reserve island of Cousin and Aride, snorkeling island of St Pierre, and giant tortoise island of Curieuse and other surrounding islands. Excursions leave directly from the beach and include guided tours and sumptuous Barbeque. Be adventurous and book a half day Fishing with reknown fisherman and catch some of the most amazing fish the Indian ocean has to offer and best of all bring it home and we will prepare it like you have never tasted before. Within walking distance from the Le Duc de Praslin are two good diving centres. One can also find taxi boats, restaurants, casinos, and shops.
