Idube safari lodge is located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, in an indigenous garden of shady trees and green lawns. this lodge was designed so as to blend in with the bush, using rough, natural coloured bricks. The neat plastering around the outside showers provides for a pleasing contrast in the decor. The appeal is immidiate with the thatched bar and entertainment area as they are the focus area for the guests to gather. The Big 5 and other game can be viewed up close on the game drives or spotted on the guided safari walks. The rangers are extremely experienced to give you the best possible wild life experience. The lodge has 10 comfortable chalets, set amongst the lawns and trees. In between drives, guests can enjoy the pool and bird watch, or relax on their private decks and watch the warthogs and the nyala families on the lawn. The swimming pool is well situated for both bird watching and game viewing, whilst cooling off with a refreshing drink in hand. Idube hosts families of nyala and warthogs, which are seen almost daily around the entire lodge area. Many guests love to just sit on their private deck and enjoy the quiet, watch the squirrels, monkeys or the many other creatures that have made Idube their home.

Rates exclude: bar bill, soft drinks, telephone and fax calls, beauty treatments, curios, gratuities, items of a personal nature and entrance fees into the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

Rates are valid for SA residents only. Proof of ID/Residency/Work Permit required at time of booking and at check-in at the lodge

Gate fees/Conservation Levy: R190.00 per vehicle and R50.00 per person, paid at the Gate.

Child Policy: Children 8 years and older are welcome at Idube Game Reserve. Children are welcome on game drives at the discretion of the ranger and/or lodge manager. Maximum 1 child upto the age of 12 years sharing with 2 adults in a Safari Suite.Maximum 2 children upto the age of 12 years sharing with 2 adults can be accommodated in the Makubela Suites (2 rooms inter-leading, children pay the applicable child sharing rate). Health requirements: Please note that the Sabi Sand Game Reserve is a malaria-area and we recommend you check with your travel clinic/doctor prior to travel for advice on the required medication.
