Horizon Cottages, Noordhoek, has made holidays in Cape Town affordable with self-catering family friendly Cottages and Cabanas located in a tranquil coastal suburb of Cape Town, within a 1 acre garden setting. Our beds all have orthopaedic mattresses and luxury, white cotton percale bedding to ensure a good night’s rest. Guinea Fowl Cottage is furnished in African Colonial style with antiques and original artworks and sleeps 4 people privately in 3 bedrooms; Main bedroom has king bed, second has spacious ¾ bed and the third is a single bedroom. Spacious living/dining room and open plan kitchen completes the accommodation. This is our ideal family cottage. Captain’s Cottage is our breezy beach cottage sleeping 4 to 6: Main bedroom has King bed, second has a choice of twin beds or King bed on request, making this ideal for 2 couples, while a fold out couch in the living room makes an extra double bed to accommodate up to 6 . A separate dining room seats 6. Cottage bathrooms have bath with shower, vanity and toilet; and open plan, fully equipped kitchens with stove/oven, fridge freezer, microwave and all small appliances. There is a door from the living room to a covered stoep facing a secure private garden with a bbq area where kids can play in safety. The stoep has a table/bench set where you can relax outdoors and enjoy the spectacular sunsets for which Noordhoek is famous. Camping cot for a baby is supplied on request. Self-catering Cabanas are a popular choice of romantic couples, and have spacious bedroom with King size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower; lounge area, fully fitted kitchen and breakfast bar with fridge, stove and microwave. A camping cot or small fold our bed is provided on request for a little one sharing. Sliding glass doors open to private wooden deck with spectacular views of Noordhoek lakes, and open into the garden, pool and bbq area.

Directions To Horizon Cottages

Take the N1 Highway going towards Cape Town; as you approach Table mountain, pass Century City on your right (biggest shopping mall in Cape Town) take the M5 exit for Muizenberg; travel on this highway (Black River park highway) a short distance and exit left taking the Cape Town N2, travel a short distance keeping to the left lanes, and at the foot of Table Mountain slopes, take the M3 exit left towards Muizenberg. From Cape Town airport take the N 2 Highway to Cape Town, and then take the M3 Muizenberg exit at the foot of the mountain; From Cape Town city centre, take Eastern Boulevard and join Rhodes drive as you pass Groote Schuur hospital. Travel until the end of this highway- Rhodes Drive- past UCT and famous Bishop's Court. Here it becomes a suburban road for just a short distance. (Edinburgh Drive). Continue on this road without taking any exit and then it become a highway again, (Blue Route Highway) continue across the Constantia valley until you reach a T-junction at the foot of the mountain and turn right towards Fish Hoek and Simonstown. Take the first fork left Ou Kaapse Weg signposted for Fish Hoek and Simonstown and enjoy a wonderful scenic drive over the mountain, do not take the Silvermine Road exit to Noordhoek/Hout bay; carry on and then at the bottom of the mountain, turn right into Noordhoek main road M6 (clearly signposted) to Chapman’s Peak drive where there is a big billboard welcoming you to Noordhoek. Take the first road to the right into Sea Cottage Drive- we are the log cabin on your left at number 9
