Directions To Hermanus Lodge

Take R43 to Hermanus off the N2. Go through centre of town. There is a shell garage about 5 minutes out of Hermanus town. Turn left into Fairways avenue follow road to top where it bends to the left. Take first rights turn (Still Fairways Avenue). A sign on the corner says “Hermanus Lodge”. Follow road to base of Mountain, where road turns rights. It is the second house on R45 with two concrete baboons on the wall.

Hermanus is built along the shores of Walker Bay near the southern most tip of Africa. The quaintness of the original village can still be seen in the renovated fishermen's cottages, many of which have been converted into shops and restaurants. Enjoy alfresco dining around the fountain at the Village Square, while waiting for a whale to appear, or just enjoy the passing trade. The vibrant music of the local Marimba Band will undoubtedly get your feet tapping!
