Grootbos Private Nature Reserve is a melting pot of biodiversity, culture and natural wonder. Each feature of the Grootbos experience, from fine dining to a wide variety of guided activities, has been crafted to facilitate and accentuate the discovery of this unique and wondrous destination.

Nestled in an ancient Milkwood forest surrounded by fynbos and mountains, the accommodation at Grootbos comprises the Garden Lodge, Forest Lodge and Villa. The Garden Lodge has three types of suits; the Classic suite, Luxury suite and Two Bedroom Luxury suite. The Forest Lodge has the Luxury suite and Luxury Pool suite. The Villa features 2 master-suites with en-suite bathrooms, 4 luxury bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. All the accommodation has been designed to complement the natural environment without compromising on style or luxury.

The reserve has a Spa, restaurants, a wine cellar, champagne bar and conference facilities. There is a collection of curated experiences at Grootbos, inspired by its pristine surroundings, which is centred around conservation and community – botanical 4x4 tours, whale watching, shark cage diving, horse riding, river cruises as well as marine safaris and community visits to name but a few.
