Hermanus is 90 minute's drive (120 km) from Cape Town. Voëlklip is the very popular holiday part of the village. Hermanus is one of the world's best land based sites for whale watching (season: July to November). It has a beautiful golf course, walking trials along the mountain slopes and seashore, yacht club and numerous restaurants.

Accomodation There are 3 bedrooms: the main bedroom has a queen-size double bed and the other 2 bedrooms a double bed and 2 single beds. The cottage has a large living room with a TV set. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave oven, stove, combination fridge/freezer, washing machine, drier and dishwasher. There is 1 bathroom, 1 toilet and a lock-up garage. A pay phone is available
