Double Dutch has beautiful bed and breakfast, guesthouse accommodation in Knysna with magnificent views overthe Knysna lagoon and the Knysna Heads. Our establishment is within close walking distance to Knysna's town centre where you will find restaurants and shopping malls. Double Dutch is Dutch, German and English Speaking. Double Dutch is child friendly and welcomes children of all ages. Our accommodation provides you with: bathroom En-suite, TV/DSTV, radio, intercom, safe, fridge, double king sized beds, hairdryer, coffee/tea facilities, underfloor heating in the bathroom, and a comfortable furnished relaxing area. Most of the rooms have a veranda and an excellent view over the lagoon and the Knysna Heads. Guests also have the use of a swimming pool and barbecue in our extended, cultivated garden. Each of our rooms has its own secure parking space on the property.

Directions To Double Dutch B and B

From Cape Town: Take the N2 to George and continue on it towards Knysna. You will see the lagoon on your right when you cross the bridge. Follow that road into Knysna until you see the Total garage on your left. Just before the garage turn left upon the hill (Fletcherstreet). On the T-junction turn left (Handelstreet). Then take the 2nd road to the right and you are on Circular Drive. After ± 150 m. you will find our accommodation on the left side, number 58 Circular Drive, Knysna. From Port Elizabeth: Take the N2 to Plettenberg Bay and continue it towards Knysna. Go through the centre until you see the Total garage on your right. Turn right after the garage up hill (Fletcherstreet). On the T-junction turn left (Handelstreet). Then take the 2nd road to the right and you are on Circular Drive. After ± 150 m. we are on the left side, number 58 Circular Drive. From George Airport: After landing at George Airport, a shuttle service or vehicle may be hired. Turn right as you leave the airport and then left onto the N2 which leads you to Knysna. You will see the lagoon on your right when you cross the bridge. Follow that road into Knysna until you see the Total garage on your left. Just before the garage turn left upon the hill (Fletcherstreet). On the T-junction turn left (Handelstreet). Then take the 2nd road to the right and you are on Circular Drive. After ± 150 m. you will find our accommodation on the left side, number 58 Circular Drive, Knysna.

General Policies & Disclaimers

Rates are per person per night sharing on a minimum stay of 1 night. Children under 2 are free of charge when sharing a room with at least one adult. The rate for children from 2 till 12 is R 200 per child. Children of 12 years and older are full rate. Single accommodation rates on request. Payment will be in Euro’s, US Dollars or South African Rand and may be subject to change without notice. Current reservations will not be affected. We accept Master Card and Visa Card. 50% of the reserved value of the booking on confirmation of the booking. Bookings are confirmed at time of deposit. We reserve the right to alter rates without notification except on confirmed reservations. The balance will be paid at the end of your stay. Our check in time is between 15.00 h – 18.00 h. If your arrival is later please advise us prior to arrival. Our check out time is before 11.00 h. Gratitude is entirely at your discretion. Our rates include a breakfast served in our dining room, with the view over the lagoon, or in the privacy of your suite or room. We provide access to Wireless Broadband. All our bedrooms are non smoking. Cancellations: - 0 to 7 days prior to arrival, 100% of reserved value. - 8 to 14 days prior to arrival, 50% of reserved value. - 15 to 21 days prior to arrival, 25% of reserved value. - 21+ days prior to arrival, 15% of reserved value.
