Deacra is a newly opened complex comprising of two lavish self-catering houses built along the beachfront and ensuring excellent vantage points from where to enjoy exceptional views of the tranquil Indian Ocean. The houses at Deacra each comprise of 3 twin bedrooms all with bathrooms en-suite, a fully fitted kitchen, open plan dining area and the luxury of a private swimming pool and garden. Deacra is now also offering accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis whereby guests are not required to reserve the whole house, but merely one of the en-suite rooms. For guests who are flying into Vilankulo and do not have their own transport the lodge management does offer airport transfers as well as transfers into town should you wish to go out for lunch or dinner. A packed lunch can be provided by the lodge if required, but dinner is not available at Deacra as there is no restaurant. More Mozambique Accommodation

Directions To Deacra

Flights to Vilanculos Situated some 500kms south of Beira and 750kms north of Maputo, Vilankulos boasts an international airport with direct flights from Johannesburg, Maputo & Nelspruit on a daily basis. Vehicles Drivers should carry the following documentation: registration book, drivers license, valid insurance from country of origin & a temporary importation license for caravans & boats.

Accommodation at Deacra The houses come fully equipped - from all bedding, mosquito nets, top quality linen, crockery & cutlery to custom-crafted wooden furniture & finishings. Each house has its own character - however all maintaining the stylishness of an upmarket beach-front haven. Attractions at Deacra Vilankulo serves as the gateway to the marine paradise of the Bazaruto Archipelago. With clear blue waters which play host to a myriad of ocean life and soft, white, sandy beaches there are a host of water sports available including scuba diving, snorkelling, deep sea fishing and dhow trips around the islands to mention just a few. The lodge management will assist in organising activities for guests on request. The town itself has many attractions including a vibrant market and several good restaurants. It is also possible to buy fresh seafood from the local fishermen at the harbour.

General Policies & Disclaimers

Please note that for guests staying on a self catering basis at Deacra a US$200 refundable deposit is required on arrival. The cost of any breakages incurred will be deducted from this deposit which will be refunded on departure. Minimum stay is 5 nights, & 7 nights over peak periods being Easter & Christmas/ New Year.
