The Lodge provides affordable and up market Self-catering accommodation in Praia do Bilene (Bilene Beach) with fully licensed restaurant and bar. Mozambique is world renowned for its endless stretch of breathtaking coastline, pristine beaches and host to some of the best scuba diving and deep sea fishing sites around the world. Bilene is surrounded by magnificent white sandy beaches. Maximum 60 guests can be accommodated. There are 3 bedroom (6-sleeper) and 2 bedroom units (4-sleeper) There is also a 1 bedroom chalet for those who want to be private and romantic. 4 x 3 bedroom chalets (sleeps 6) 8 x 2 bedroom chalets (sleeps 4) 1 x 1 bedroom chalet (sleeps 2) All bedrooms are air conditioned and each chalet has its own plunge pool & braai (BBQ)with 24 hr security guards, DSTV Bouquet including M-net, movie channels, all super sport channels, Disney, Disney Jnr, Disney XD, Kyknet, Sky news, popular radio channels and many more. The Lodge has WiFi available for guests.

Very comfortable beds, clean fresh linen and towels, large luxury square mozzi nets and stylish bathroom. Full self-catering kitchens / open plan lounge. Water is supplied by a borehole and pressure pump, Reliable electricity is supplied by the Municipality (No cut off times like generators - no more hot nights)

Directions To Tenda Tora Lodge

From the Komatipoort border - travel approx 90 km's to Maputo, turn left to Xai Xai on the EN1 North for approx 150 km's. At Macia turn right and drive in an easterly direction for approx 33 km's to Praia do Bilene. You will arrive at a circle (Bilene Motel) Take the road on the right of the Motel and go straight. At the T-Junction turn left. Go past both garages (left side) and immediately after the market - turn left onto a dirt road (Bairro Mahungo, Nhabanga sign) Go over the bridge and take the very first right and immediately right again. Approx 600 metres from the main road. You will see the white houses with blue roofs a few metres on.

Area Attractions

Mouth-watering Portuguese cuisine within walking distance. Numerous bars and restaurants within a 3 km radius. Try out the local beer or sit back and sip on a cocktail. Be busy or do nothing at all. The town boasts two filling stations, supplying diesel and both leaded and unleaded petrol, cooldrinks, ice, snacks, long life milk and other basic items. The market offers fresh fish, prawns, veggies, fruit in season, bread rolls (pao), beer, wine, spirits, cashew nuts, arts & crafts, charcoal, frozen chicken and plenty more. It is advisable to bring your own red meat and dairy products.
