About 8 kilometers away from Bilene, at the opposite and upper side of the lagoon lies the beautiful and tranquil village of Nhabanga. The village can only be reached by 4 x 4 or by boat.The sand road to the village is a 25 kilometer stretch that will normally take almost an hour to complete. This remoteness adds to the attraction of the area. Mouth-watering Portuguese cuisine within walking distance. Numerous bars and restaurants within a 3 km radius. 3 x 1-bedroom apartments sleeping up to 4 people, and 1 x 2bedroom(en-suite) apartment sleeping up to 6 people. (A 4x4 is required to reach Serenity.) The bigger apartment has its own jaccuzzi. We have our own borehole and we are connected to the national electricity grid. We have a 100m of beachfront from where watercraft can be launched easily.

The town boasts two filling stations, supplying diesel and both leaded and unleaded petrol, cooldrinks, ice, snacks, long life milk and other basic items. The market offers fresh fish, prawns, veggies, fruit in season, bread rolls (pao), beer, wine, spirits, cashew nuts, arts & crafts, charcoal, frozen chicken and plenty more. It is advisable to bring your own red meat and dairy products.
