These new houses at Bibo Sands in Mozambique are situated on the lighthouse road in the Barra area and are impeccably managed and comfortably furnished. The larger units can accommodate 4 adults and 2-3 children and comprises of two en-suite bedrooms; one with a king-size bed and the other with four single beds. The bed choice can be made by the guest, choose between single, twin or king size. The lounge area contains two single sleeper couches and there is also a guest toilet, kitchen and dining area. The smaller self-catering unit sleeps four people and comprises one bedroom with two sleeper couches in the lounge area, a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and dining room. We do have our own brand new swimming pool! Bibo Sands does not have direct access to the beach, however it’s just a short drive or walk from the lodge. Guests staying at Bibo Sands will be pampered by friendly hosts and owners, Rina and William. Included in the rate is a delicious welcoming drink, the traditional R&R, which is a local rum and raspberry mix. Directions To Bibo Sands

Bibo Lodge is situated 485 km North of Maputo and 25km from the Provincial Capital of Inhambane. From Maputo, take the EN1 North to Xai Xai. Approximately 50km after Inharrime, there is a signboard on your left ‘Lindela’. Take the right fork at this point to Inhambane. In Inhambane, turn right when you reach the harbour pier on your left. Travel through the town until you reach the stop sign. Continue to your right around the circle and follow signs to Tofo and Airport (Aeroporto). At the Tofo/Barra crossroads, with Bar Babalaza on your right hand side, continue straight on a dirt road for approximately 8kms. At the ‘Big Tree’ – look for signage to Manta da Barra and turn right on this sand road. Remember to let your tyres down to 1 Bar at this point. Continue on this sand road for approximately 2kms. Bibo Sands is situated next door to Manta da Barra. Your hosts will be expecting you.
