Zululand Safari Lodge, situated in the heart of Zululand, is only a 2 hour northbound drive from Durban, and is perfect for families and conference groups. This traditional African self-catering reserve with its dining boma and 24 thatched rondavels looks up at the sweep of Ubizane Mountain. The 1500 hectare Reserve, which is adjacent to the world renowned Hluhluwe and Umfolozi Game Reserve, boasts over 350 species of bird life as well as a variety of game including rhino, giraffe, wildebeest and many antelope species.

Driving Directions:
From Durban (276km) proceed on the N2 North, past Tongaat, Stanger, Empangeni, Mtubatuba to Hluhluwe. Take the Hluhluwe/Sodwana Bay off-ramp. It is also signposted Zululand Tree Lodge. At the top of the off-ramp turn left onto the P453. Travel a further 2.5km and you will see the Ubizane Wildlife Reserves entrance on your left.
From Johannesburg (560km) Proceed on the Witbank freeway (N4) towards Middelburg. At Middelburg take the N11 to Ermelo. At Ermelo take the R29 to Piet Retief, Pongola to Mkhuze and then Hluhluwe. Take the Hluhluwe/Sodwana off-ramp. At the top of the off-ramp turn right onto the P453 over the N2 flyover. Travel a further 2.5km and you will see the Ubizane Wildlife Reserve entrance on the left.
