My husband and I decided to go to Maldives for our honeymoon but we were very uncertain about which hotel property to go to. The Vivanta by Taj hotel obviously looked like the best option with their known hospitable and warm staff; also, it was offering a more competitive package than the other hotels we contacted. We were on a breakfast inclusive package since we didn't want to be stuck with buffet meals. The breakfast (which is my favourite meal of the day) was fabulous! I enjoyed having the fresh juice and many different options provided in their menu (I tried some Mexican specialities also!) and the staff made the beginning of the day even more pleasant by their cheerful and friendly nature. We decided not to go for any excursions and thoroughly enjoyed the island - walks around the island, sting ray feeding in the evening, drinks at the bar, snorkelling etc. All in all, we had a wonderful stay in our water villa and would love to go back someday.

We returned from this paradise holiday a week ago and still can't believe how perfect it was in every way. We do wonder if some of the comments came from people who actually stayed there. We went fully inclusive and could not fault it in anyway. We had a water bungalow and it was bliss to have our own private deck and steps into the lagoon with all the amazing fish. We had a very large room which was cleaned twice a day and a huge bathroom. All of the staff were immensely obliging and so friendly. It was my husbands birthday while we were there and the entire staff went out of there way to make it the most memorable birthday ever. Can't wait to return.
