Fishing at Vilanculos Beach Lodge The Bazaruto Archipelago is a well-known fishing destination, particularly for marlin and sailfish anglers. Other game-fish such as kingfish, king mackerel, wahoo, dorado and bonito are frequently caught. Catch and release is encouraged.
Scuba Diving and Snorkeling at Vilanculos Beach Lodge Spectacular coral reefs with bountiful sea-life ensure memorable diving and snorkelling. Over 600 species of fish have been recorded during dives and turtles, morays and rays are often seen.

Well 2 start off our stay was not planed or booked,we were traveling by boat (48 foot power cat) and had 2 do a re-feul stop at Vilanculos,after 4-days on sea setting toot on land was great. So we started with the big mission 2 get 2000L of diesel on board our boat thats anchored 1/2 km from shore. Well after 4 hours we gave up. Plan B:We phoned a local called Norman, who told us 2 put our boat on the beach infront of Vilanculos Beach Lodge on Hi-tide.As we walked up to the lodge we were greeted with smiling staff surprised that we used the sea fasing entrance.Well thanx to Vilanculos Beach Lodge that made our re-feul possable. GREAT place we will most definate see u again this time booked for holliday and not a re-feul. Ps. I pray God's endless love and blessings on Vilanculos Beach Lodge. Thank you. Johan.
