Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Victoria Falls
On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, a Thompsons Africa representative meets you, and transfers you to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a romantic sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River, above the mighty Falls.
Day 2: Victoria Falls (B)
Depart on a morning tour to Victoria Falls, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. The Victoria Falls offers an inescapable closeness to the natural elements. The towering column of spray when the river is high, the thunder of the falling water, the terrifying abyss that separates Zimbabwe from Zambia, the forest-lined, placid, tranquil lagoons upstream in which hippo and deadly crocodiles lurk.
Day 3: Victoria Falls / Chobe (BLD)
Transfer by road from Victoria Falls to Chobe, Botswana, a reserve renowned for its impressive elephant population. The Chobe National Park, the second largest national park in Botswana and covers 10 566 square km, has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent. Experience an exciting game drive late this afternoon in an open safari vehicle.
Day 4: Chobe (BLD)
Spend your day game viewing in the Chobe National Park, a great wilderness area packed with giraffe, bush buck, elephant, lion and leopard. You will have the opportunity to enjoy exhilarating game drives in open safari vehicles, and experience the romance of Chobe on a sundowner cruise.
Day 5: Depart Chobe / Victoria Falls (B)
