Vaquita Beach Lodge is your own holiday beach house situated on mainland Mozambique at Praia de Barra, 20 km past the town of Inhambane. You can reach us by traveling over land whilst exploring rural Mozambique into the tropical Inhambane province with thousands of Coconut palms. A 4x4 vehicle is necessary for 100 meter of beach sand to reach us but if you would like to try, your car is welcome. There is an Airport in Inhambane with regular flights from JHB to Maputo, and then Maputo to Inhambane return, scheduled every Friday & Monday.
Vaquita consist of a main house connected by a walkway to 4 cabins with in-suite bathrooms. All build on wooden stilts just in front of the dune there for the great sea view that can be enjoyed on separate deck’s. Our main house is self-catering bearing in mind that we provide the chef and the cleaning lady in order for you to enjoy your holiday as well. Although we could make a plan to cater for you at an extra tariff.

Your time is your own... you decide whether you want to swim or Snorkel in the lovely waters, just laze around on the beach, do some Bird watching, Quad biking, a relaxing Sundowner, or the more adventurous Horse riding on the Beach, Deep Sea Fishing, Scuba Diving, Water sports, etc. We can arrange it all for you!
