In 1997, Frazzitta Enterprises, one of the leading family-owned property investment companies in South Africa, bought and later transformed a neglected; three-storey building in Long Street into the stylish and luxurious boutique hotel it is today. The construction process was intense, with the entire building being demolished, leaving only four internal walls. The foundation was then substantially strengthened, and a floor a month was built until the impressive new seven-storey structure was completed.
The Italian flair of its owners, the Frazzitta family, is apparent in every feature of Urban Chic. From the high-quality finishes and imported stainless steel chandelier that graces the reception area to the minute attention to detail in all aspects of the hotel's operation, this owner- run boutique hotel leaves nothing to be desired.

Directions from Cape Town International Airport:
Take the exit from the airport to Cape Town along the N2.
Proceed along the N2 until you reach a sign that states M4 Cape Town.
Follow the M4 Cape Town sign.
This will take you to the Strand Street off-ramp.
Proceed along Strand Street, crossing 5 traffic lights.
At the 6th Traffic light, turn LEFT into Long Street.
Urban Chic is number 172 Long Street.
It will be on your right hand side on the corner of Long & Pepper Streets.

BOOKING TERMS:
A 50% deposit of full stay will secure your reservation. Deposits are non-refundable.
Balance of accommodation account is payable on departure. Children under 12 on request
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation within 7 days of date of arrival 50% of full accommodation is payable. Cancellation within 24 hours of arrival full accommodation is payable.
In the event of premature departure the full extent of stay as originally booked and confirmed will be charged. Refunds and waiver of cancellation policies are at the discretion of management and the liability to re-let the rooms.
