We actually went last December before the refurbishment, and loved it. We were completely spoilt, They have thought of so many litle extras like cool towels before dinner, popcorn snacks, oh and All Inclusive, really means All inclusive! Snorkelling gear, 99% of drinks, canoe hire etc, laundry... all free!!
The spa is also fantastic, the shop has some beautiful bikinis and other fashionable bits and bobs, and the smallness of the island makes it so friendly. We have been 5 times, and this Xmas will be our 6th. It has been refurbished to have new water bungalows, but they have a separate restaurant and bar, we hope this doesn't create too much of a division, because it was so so friendly before, like coming home!!

We have been to the Maldives three times now and this was the best island yet. Not only the location but the service,entertainment, food and overall running of the island was all of a very high standard.
The island is due for an upgrade with additional water bungalows being added, I hope this does not spoil the friendly running of the island which we found very appealling. One of the 1001 islands to go to before you die.

The hotel was marvelous, very relaxing and it greatly emphasized on the nature aspect of the maldives by offering several ocean excursions and by the fact that it did not have a pool which meant that people had to use the ocean to swim.
