The Kipepeo Lodge is a charming and warm resort, recently built on the Southeast coast of Zanzibar, close to a typical african village, Jambiani. It rises on the beach in front of the Indian Ocean and was created with love and fantasy. Drinks & Snacks all day long.
Upon your request, if you decide to spend your time on the beach in front of the lodge. We offer local spicy tea, coffee, local cakes, fruit salades, finger food, cool drinks and fruit shakes ready made for you.
Private Romantic dinners in the Garden (exclusive).
That's one of the unique services you will find in Kipepeo Lodge. Since we have a beautiful garden, we can arrange moonlight and candlelight romantic dinners on the sand. An experience you will never forget.
Personal Guide for land trips.
Everyday we will guide you through the island, advising you with various options, depending on your desires. Our guides are officially certified, english speaking and nice.
Bike riding.
It is very common to use mountain bikes to ride the beach, being helped by the monsoons! Just ask.
Snorkelling and Boat trips in the lagoon. We will bring you on the typical local dhows. You will experience the wind sailing emotions. We can also organize your visit to the dolphins with whom you will swim!
Spice Tours.
It's one of the classical excursions you can have on the spice island!
Private local Cooking & Art courses (exclusive).
That's one of our main virtues. Kim will teach you how to cook excellent local menus. We put at your disposition the lodge kitchen for your experiments! At your request, we will organize a private african art course with one local painter.
Beach Restaurant (Kim's Restaurant). Kim owns and runs a small and extremely romantic restaurant, few meters far from the lodge. He is one of the best chefs you will be able to find in Zanzibar. You will reach him at night, walking on the low tide, under the full moon...

Driving Directions:
From the airport of Zanzibar Town take the main road that goes to the East side of the Island. You can get there if you follow the road signs to the 'Club Vacanze Village Dongwe'.
After 30Kms, you will pass through Jozani Forest and after other 15 Kms you will reach the east coast and the village, Paje. Turn on the right and follow the coast line for 5-7 kms on a sandy road. You now reach Jambiani. Just follow the road in the village (towards south) until you reach the centre. Kipepeo Lodge is only 2-3 Kms after Villa de Coco, south direction or look for the road signs to it
