Thandeka is a malaria-free reserve that homes an abundant variety of wildlife, birds and flora. Thandeka Lodge is situated 35km from Bela Bela formerly Warmbaths in the Waterberg district of the Limpopo Province. Thandeka is a private reserve with mixed vegetation. The reserve is 1000 hectares.

Children policy:
Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on safari, and where possible, a kiddies safari will be arranged between normal safari times. Children under the age of 12 years are permitted on safari at the sole discretion of the manager or guide. Baby sitting can be arranged at the lodge at an additional cost.
The lodge reserves the right to restrict one night stays over weekends/public holidays.
Additional activities – Elephant Interaction and safaris, walking with the Cheetah – rates on request.

Beautiful location...felt like you were in the middle of nowhere when you were just 2 hours from Johannesburg. Service was incredible, the staff there made me feel like a queen! Got to snuggle with baby lions too which was awesome!

I was fortunate enough to go recently for a work off-site meeting and stay over. The staff were consistently knowledgable and friendly in a natural way, the facilities and food great with lots to see in terms of animals (cheetah encounter in particular). A couple of hours north of Johannesburg,
