The nine luxury bush villas each have private bomas, private splash pools, salas, viewing decks, lounges, fireplaces and outdoor showers. Without compromising luxury or service, the tented camp is electricity free, and the four luxury tents have viewing decks and spacious bathrooms with showers. Thandas bush wellness centre offers a variety of therapies to ease lifes daily stresses in magnificent surroundings. Vula Zulu, a traditional kraal at the entrance to Thanda is the setting for guests to have the privilege of watching between 50 and 100 Impi performing age-old war dancing rites. Guests can visit the kraal, witness the Impi dancing and enjoy a traditional meal.

Driving Directions:
Take the N2 towards Hluhluwe. Approx. 20km past the turn-off for Hluhluwe, turn left into the D242, continue for approx. 5km on the gravel road to the Thanda gate on the right.

Rates include vat and tourism levy as well as all meals, local drinks, and activities within the reserve. Payment to be made 14 days prior to arrival. Bookings cancelled 7 days prior to arrival are subject to 100% cancellation fee. All payments to be made in South African Rands. The lodge reserves the right to cancel the reservation automatically if payment is not made by due date.
