South Africa - Garden Route and Winelands Itinerary

Day 1: Port Elizabeth / Plettenberg Bay
On arrival at Port Elizabeth Airport, you are met and assisted to the Car Hire Depot. Collect your vehicle and head for the seaside village of Plettenberg Bay. After checking in, spend the remainder of the afternoon, exploring this holiday haven, lined by several miles of white sands, backed by the blue-grey outline of the Tsitsikamma Mountains and lapped by an endless succession of gentle waves.

Day 2: Plettenberg Bay / Knysna (B)
Set off on your tour of the scenic Garden Route. This magical area hugs the dramatic Indian Ocean coastline on the one side, and magnificent mountain ranges on the other. The area is famous for its endless lakes, wildlife, lagoons, wide flowing rivers, as well as its rich green indigenous forests and flora.

Day 3: Knysna (B)
Spend today exploring Knysna, one of the Southern Cape coast's best known holiday destinations, situated between lush forests and the shores of the peaceful lagoon. It offers many activities and attractions of a wide variety. The most well known attraction being the 'Heads', two great sandstone cliffs guarding the mouth of the lagoon which connects the estuary with the sea.
