It was all absolutely fantastic

It was all absolutely fantastic. The hotel was amazing and everyone was so unbelievably friendly and helpful. They even added one of my daughter’s recipes to their menu. Sun Tours (the AfricaStay tour operator) were great although I wouldn’t recommend their tour to prison island . It’s a bit of a waste of money. The island is poor but beautiful. We did a lot of swimming and snorkelling – beautiful reefs.

Mango were great – very efficient (and I can also recommend the little Airport B and B we stayed in the night before (called Emerald Guest House). They fetched us at the airport and delivered us back at 5 in the morning).
Thank you so much for organising it all for us. It was exactly what we were looking for. A great place for some R and R.

Thanks again.

The Royal Zanzibar Hotel is great and has the benefit of having larger rooms and extensive grounds. The hotel is all inclusive and the food is very good. The 5 swimming pools and beach area are excellent.

I recently came back from from staying at the Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort and it truly is a "Royal Gem"! From the moment you enter the gates of the resort, you can feel and see the beauty of the grounds and sea ahead of you. The reception area, the boutique, the lush gardens with beautiful flowers, the lounge area, the buffet area, 3 beautiful infinity pools, the beach area, the workout and spa services area, the ala carte Samaki restaurant having the best viewing area of the sunset, the spacious rooms etc. The breakfast/lunch/dinner menu was fantastic. Last but not least I will never forget all the staff members that provided great service and great hospitality in every way possible. A "Royal Gem" that will always sparkle in my thoughts daily!

What a stunnig Place. We like going to Zanzibar, but I must admit this was the best time we've had. Royal Zanzibar is definetly the most beautiful part of the island. There was fun things for the kids, big and small to do. Entertainment every night. We had a ball! Can't wait to go there again

The place is absolutely great, good huge rooms & bathrooms with all the amenities. Stunning beach front and fantastic swimming pools, 4 of them including a jaccuzzi and infinity pool. Food was great. All inclusive made it fantastic. The ocean water is so clear and great
We went for our anniversary and they went out of their way to make it a great occassion. Most of the staff were friendly.
We will definitely be returning to this fantastic resort.
