Paradise Magoo in Xai Xai is a holiday destination for people who want to relax on beautiful clean beaches, enjoy spectacular fishing and spend quality time with family and friends. Situated approximately 35km north of Xai Xai, Paradise Magoo offers self-catering chalets and camping facilities.
The Type A accommodation comprises either tented or wood ‘chalets’. All share a clean ablution block and are fully equipped for 5 guests. There are 2 separate bedrooms each with single beds and a single bed in the kitchen/lounge area. These chalets are behind a dune within walking distance from the beach and restaurant. They all have braai facilities.
The Type B Chalets are all tented chalets with 2 bedrooms (each with 2 x single beds) and a third small bedroom with 2 x single beds is next to the lounge area. These chalets have a bathroom, kitchen and a deck with table, chairs and seaviews. There are 3 of these tented chalets and the kitchen is equipped with 4 plate gas stove, gas freezer (not fridge) and a deck with table, chairs and a braai (barbeque) area.
The twenty shaded campsites at Paradise Magoo are individually fenced and have a roofed shelter than can be used as a kitchen (each site has its own tap). The communal ablutions are neat and clean and have hot water. Each of these Xai Xai camp sites accommodates a maximum of 6 people per stand.
All accommodation at Paradise Magoo is within walking distance to the beach.
Fishermen will enjoy fishing from the mussel encrusted reef and an opening in the reef allows boats to be taken out into the deep sea.
Paradise Magoo has a restaurant and bar with magnificent views overlooking the Xai Xai beach. This is a great spot to enjoy a meal of fresh seafood, steaks or pizzas.
