Paradise Cove

Stayed at the hotel August 2007. Had a superb holiday. The staff were extremely friendly and very professional. They were most helpfull. Rooms were well appointed and facilities were adequate. This is a relatively small hotel and therefore you do not have the hustle and bustle that you are exposed to at the larger hotels on the island. Definately a place to relax but not good if you have small children as the hotel does not have a kiddies club. I reccomend this hotel for peace and tranquility, honeymoon couples and people wanting to get away from the average beach holiday. The food is superb and the evening entertainment amongst the best I have experienced in Mauritius. I have travelled frequently to Mauritius and this is definately the best value for money hotel on the island.

Holidays with little children

We spent 2 weeks at Paradise Cove in January 2005, with a 6-month old baby. We had a lovely time, the staff were very warm and friendly, the food excellent. The only point we think people should know is that the "private beach" is in fact a tiny cove, nearly completely surrounded by walls, quite shallow and full of sea weed. Not too romantic! So nothing for toddlers and small children, but we didn't mind and loved being outside the cove on the rocky coast where they have put up sweet lounge corners in the rocks and steps leading into the sea (no sand).
