KwaZulu-Natal - Battlefields Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Battlefields (D)
On arrival at Durban International Airport, you will be met and assisted to the car hire depot. Collect your hired vehicle, and travel to the Battlefields, a journey of approximately 4 hours driving time. Later today, check into your selected hotel overlooking a battle site between the Boer, Brits and Zulus.
Day 2: Battlefields (BD)
This morning after breakfast, depart on a battlefields tour. This is a theatrical and dramatic experience brought to life by your expert guide. KwaZulu-Natal was host to some of South Africa's most significant battles, extending over more than 200 turbulent years. It was here that Zulu armies confronted the Voortrekker, and where the mighty British Army was defeated by the power of the Zulu nation. The atmosphere of the famous Isandlwana battlefield is eerie and emotional, and the tour is an unexpected highlight to many of the participants.
Day 3: Depart Battlefields (B)
After this inspiring experience, make you way back to Durban International Airport, for your onward journey.
