MERMAID BAR is a perfect spot for admiring the glowing sunsets. It serves African beers and wines, a variety of exotic cocktails and fruit juices. Pool table is there and board games as well as African bao game.

I would like to share that the location of kendwa rocks is the best amongst Zanzibar. It has got the excellent beaches unlike the star hotels who have man made beaches towards Nungwi. This place has got white sand beaches all along while the other few places have got rocky beaches with algae all around. The full moon dance party conducted here was one night moment which all should go through. Even u are not charged for that full moon party since you are already a member of the club. The restaurant is amazing and you can see people staying all around to come and have food and drink here.
It is a world class and low in budget resort. better than Nungwi in all respects, let it be beaches, restaurant, crowd and friends. We made Abdur and Rehman as our friends and will never forget them because of there services and politeness in everything.

We stayed at Kendwa Rocks from for our December Holiday. Accommodation at Kendwa Rocks is simple but comfortable and suitable since we spent all the time on the gorgeous beach. Thank you Diana for organizing our holiday in Zanzibar. We can’t wait to return.

Its a heaven on its own.I was there on Sept of 2010 with a family of 3 and 4 friends.What an amazing experience from accomodation to activities.Food was great and the service amazing.You dont have to carry cash with you as they have a kendwa gift card system where you can reload yous card for the entire stay.Very friendly staff.Very clean place and a heaven to forget about your stresses.The sand is powdery white and ive never seen anything like that before.the whole world meets there.You can play volleyball,smoke shisha drink fresh mohitos or hook up with other people.The water is crystal glass clear.When i was there they had a full moon party.They do it every month.Wow what a party it was.They had 3 Djs one from Australia one from UK and another one was Local.Im telling you ive travelled around and Kendwa Rocks is by far the best destination,cheap,convenient,friendly and adventorous.Definately going back sooner than later.
