Idube is a safari lodge situated in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, in the heart of South Africa’s premier wildlife conservation area of the Greater Kruger Park. Game, including the Big 5, is viewed really close by from open Landrovers, or spotted on guided walks. All our experienced rangers and trackers are trained to give guests the best possible wild life experience.

The lodge has 10 comfortable chalets, set amongst green lawns and shady trees. In between drives, guests can enjoy the pool and bird watch, or relax on their private decks and watch the warthogs and the nyala families on the lawn.

Nightly rates include: luxury accommodation in en-suite, air-conditioned chalets, 3 full meals daily, all teas and coffees, afternoon tea, 2 game drives daily in open landrovers and a safari walk. Game activities are with skilled and well-trained rangers.full board and 2 game drives
Rates exclude: transfers, Ulusaba runway fees, bar bill, soft drinks, telephone and fax calls, curios, gratuities, items of a personal nature and Sabi Sand entrance fees (currently R150.00 per vehicle plus R30.00 per person).
Transfers between Kruger Mpumalanga Airport and Idube Game Reserve are available on request. The drive between KMIA and Idube takes approximately an hour and a half and is done in an air-conditioned vehicle.

Children 8 years and older are welcome at Idube Game Reserve. Children are welcome on game drives at the discretion of the ranger and/or lodge manager. Maximum 1 child upto the age of 12 years sharing with 2 adults in a Safari Suite.Maximum 2 children upto the age of 12 years sharing with 2 adults can be accommodated in the Makubela Suites (2 rooms inter-leading, children pay the applicable child sharing rate).

It was the best most awesome safari. My husband, kids 23 and 20 and I could find nothing but praise for idube, for Melinda, especially for our ranger, promise and " bait" Maurice ( tracker). People were always courteous, made us feel at home. Food was excellent, saw big five plus plus plus.

In a few lines, if I were to go back to sabi sands, it will be Idube. The staff, driver and tracker have been amazing. Chef was great. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment there!

Great place, great staff, great rangers - they respect nature and they help you experiencing nature, animals - fauna and flora - at the very best.
