Golfing Beneath the African Sky Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: The Royal Cape Golf Club and Peninsula (B)
Your private driver will transfer you to the Royal Cape Golf Club, the oldest golf club in South Africa and a demanding course, for a round of golf. This afternoon we visit the scenic Cape Peninsula Nature Reserve and ride the funicular to the viewpoint of the meeting place of the two oceans.
Day 3: Cape Winelands and Spier Golf Club (B)
We travel to Stellenbosch and play a round of golf at De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate at The Village at Spier. This course has water features on several of the holes. Sample some of the wines produced on the Spier Wine Estate and travel on to explore Stellenbosch on foot.
Day 4: Cape Town (B)
Spend today relaxing or take a trip up Table Mountain in the cable car (own account).
Day 5: Cape Town / Sun City (B)
Transfer after breakfast to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg (own account). On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport you will be met and transferred to Sun City. Check-in and explore the Sun City Complex at your leisure. The complex includes an entertainment area, luxury hotels, beautiful gardens, excellent golf courses and casinos.
Day 6: Gary Player Golf Course (B)
Enjoy a round of golf today at the Gary Player Golf Course, ranked the best golf course in South Africa. This famous course, both demanding and difficult, has hosted the Nedbank Million Dollar golf tournament. This afternoon we recommend you visit Pilanesberg Nature Reserve, home to the 'Big Five' (own account).
Day 7: Lost City Golf Course (B)
This morning play the Lost City Golf Course, different in character from Sun City, and carved out of a rocky terrain. This afternoon spend time relaxing at the Valley of the Waves.
Day 8: Depart Sun City / Johannesburg (B)Transfer back to Johannesburg International Airport to continue your holiday in this beautiful country.
