Royal Ezulwini Valley has monuments, museums, culture and crafts. King Mswati III lives in this valley. Ezulwini valley has several hotels, a casino, golf course and night club.

Activities at Ezulwini
• The Swazi Cultural Village located in the Ezulwini valley.

• Every August the king gets a chance to choose a wife. Virgins dance in front of the king.

• Visit a traditional beehive hut village during the day.
• The street in Ezulwini have exquisite wooden sculptures and crafts. A popular purchase is a bright hand-woven basket in zigzag designs of greens, purples, yellows and reds.
• Incwala, a four-day fruit ceremony, which takes place every year (December/January) .the king, eats the first fruit of the new season. In August/ September, see the Umhlanga (Reed Dance), when young women pay homage to the Queen Mother, Lombada.

Ezulwini Accommodation
Camping is possible near almost every tourist attraction and in all the national parks.
Ezulwini Valley is the prime entertainment area of Swaziland. Tucked away on a bushveld fruit farm not even 5 minutes from the center of the Valley, out of sight and away from the sounds of this travellers hub, is Buhleni Farm.
• Buhleni Farm has 12 self-catering luxury wooden chalets with established gardens. All chalets have 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 4 people. Each chalet has its own living room, breakfast nook, braii area & covered porch. The chalets are fully serviced with linen, towels, kitchen facilities & cutlery.
Daily maid service is provided. Buhleni farm is in the middle Manzini/ Mbabane and is idle for overnight business people.
Mantenga Lodge
• 8 wooden chalets built on stilts viewing the valley. Offers the peace and quietness one would require. There are executive rooms with wonderful twin beds, standard rooms and pool side rooms

Getting to Ezulwini there
Flights come in from different destinations. Taxis to the city centre are available on all arrivals
A train service between Durban and Maputo travels through Swaziland. There are good roads from Johannesburg, Durban and northern KwaZulu-Natal as well as buses running from KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga.

Climate
The weather is changeable due to the variation in altitude. Except in the lowland. Frosts occasionally occur in the Highveld which has a wetter, temperate climate. Most rain is from October to March.
