Nampula is the capital of Nampula Province in northern Mozambique, with rocky outcrops. A local flight connects it to Maputo.
Nampula holds the regional market with shops, banks, hotels and restaurants. The town is a good stop over for journeys towards Tanzania or Malawi.
The town is connected by the only rail service to the Malawian border post.

Nampula is the third largest city after Maputo and Beira. There are regular
flights to Nampula from different parts of the world. Nampula is easy to reach due to good commutation facilities.
You can hire a car to move around. The Nacala Bay is also a good place to go and visit.
