Chizavane is a tiny undeveloped village 280 kilometres northeast of Mozambique’s capital city, Maputo. Though undeveloped 10km away in a sandy road there is Chizavane Beach. Chizavane beach like any other beach has white coral reefs and inland fresh water lagoons.
Excellent fishing and diving can be found at Chizavane and charter boats are required for this. The village is a total contrast from the fast and busy life of the city.

This is also an excellent place for the bird watcher, especially during the rainy season. The rainy season is during the last two months of the year.
For the young couples with children this is an idle place.
