Malawi is the Warm Heart of Africa and it is a good experience of the Lake, Landscape and Wildlife in one of Africa's most beautiful countries. Malawi is like none other in Africa: small, yet with an immense diversity of scenery and a vast inland sea. Much of the country lies in the Great Rift Valley.
Malawi climate is moderate. There are 5 National Parks and four Safari’s. You can enjoy walking and touring in small groups. There road network is good. It is tarred but narrow. Flights are found that fly to different destinations. Road transport is also available. There are good hotels in all the main centres which range from lodges to luxury hotels. In the game parks bookings need to be done in advance.
Malawi provides opportunities for many types of activities. Lake Malawi is good for boat activities and watersports and freshwater diving. Eight land-based national parks and wildlife reserves offer all type of safaris in a wide variety of natural wilderness environments. The mixed terrain and varied landscapes also provide for excellent trekking and mountain biking opportunities, particularly in the highland areas.
The big five can be found in Malawi’s national parks. Different types of fish can be found in Lake Malawi.
