Only three and a half hours drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria, lies a wonderful escape from the stresses of city life. Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge is situated above the quaint and picturesque town of Pilgrims Rest and is close to all the natural attractions of the Eastern Highlands and Kruger National Park.
Found at the top of Robbers Pass, Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge is situated within a 5000ha private Game Reserve. We boast five well established and scenic hiking trails. Enjoy a game drive in one of our open vehicles with an experienced game ranger. Game drives can be booked at reception on your arrival at the Resort.
The Clubhouse is available to adults over 16. Facilities here include a fully equipped gym, sauna, jacuzzi, steambath and indoor heated pool. Our qualified beauty therapist offers a full range of treatments.
For the kids we have a games room with pool tables, table tennis and a wide range of board games are available. We also have a putt-putt course, trampolines, a childrens playground, tennis courts and a squash court. The resort has four outdoor swimming pools, one of which is heated to a comfortable swimming temperature.
Pointers Rest Restaurant is open daily for breakfast and dinner. Afternoons & Coffeespoons coffee shop is open from 09h30 18h00 daily. Freshly baked cakes, a selection of coffees and other light meals are available should you feel like a change from self-catering. Bookings for dinner are essentail over weekends. Visit our pub for a warm, cozy and friendly atmosphere. Our shop offers a small selection of basic items.
The reception is open from 07H00 to 22H00. Check-in time is from 16H00. Please vacate your unit by 10H00 on the day of your departure. If you are going to be a late arrival, (after 22H00) please arrange directly with the resort for your keys to be left at the gate.
Camping cots are available at reception for infants under two years old, on arrival on payment of a refundable deposit. Please bring your own swimming towels as these are not provided by the resort.
UNIT DESCRIPTIONS
The six-sleeper unit (four comfort) and the four-sleeper unit (two comfort) are thatched, semi-detached units. The six sleeper unit has two bedrooms, (the second bedroom has two twin, single beds) as well as two bathrooms, one with a shower, the other with a bath. We require a minimum of three paying adults in a six sleeper. The four sleeper has a double bed in the bedroom and bathroom (shower above bath).
Both the four and six sleeper units have a foldout sleeper couch in the lounge and a well-equipped kitchen. Each unit has its own wooden balcony and braai facility. We require a minimum of two paying adults in a four sleeper.
The eight sleeper unit (six comfort) are stand-alone, thatched units with three bedrooms, the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The second and third bedrooms have two twin, single beds in each room. They share a full bathroom with shower. A foldout sleeper couch can be found in the lounge. The fully equipped kitchen has a washing machine and tumble drier. We require a minimum of five paying adults in an eight sleeper.
The contiguous units are double storey six-sleeper (four comfort) townhouse style thatched units with eight units joined together in a row. The main bedroom has a double bed with shower / toilet en-suite. Upstairs youll find the second bedroom with two twin beds. Two single foldout sleeper couches can be found in the lounge. The second bathroom and fully equipped kitchen are on the ground floor. Each unit has its own wooden balcony and braai facility. We require a minimum of three paying adults in a six sleeper.
The Clubhouse Suites (two-sleepers) are hotel style units (not thatched stand-alone units) with an on-suite bathroom (no shower) and a small kitchenette contained in a cupboard. Communal braai facilities are available.

Cancellation 1 month or more prior to arrival date -80% refund of deposit
Cancellation 2 weeks or more prior to arrival date - 50% refund of deposit
Cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to arrival date - No refund
If you do not arrive on the date mentioned on your confirmation letter, your booking will automatically be cancelled and your deposit forfeited. The resort reserves the right to change your unit type without prior notification and when the party is less than initially booked for on arrival at the resort. All cancellations / changes must be received in writing.
Accounts are payable on arrival at the resort. No cheques will be accepted. Cash & credit cards welcome.
