About 8 kilometers away from Bilene, at the opposite and upper side of the lagoon lies the beautiful and tranquil village of Nhabanga. The village can only be reached by 4 x 4 or by boat.The sand road to the village is a 25 kilometer stretch that will normally take almost an hour to complete. This remoteness adds to the attraction of the area.

The market offers fresh fish, prawns, veggies, fruit in season, bread rolls (pao), beer, wine, spirits, cashew nuts, arts & crafts, charcoal, frozen chicken and plenty more. It is advisable to bring your own red meat and dairy products.
