Barra Reef Resort offers affordable accommodation ranging from a dive / backpackers lodges to comfortable fully furnished A frame chalets and stone villas. All accommodation has sea views and is nowhere further than 100 meters from the sea.
Full restaurant facilities and exquisite beach bar right on the water contributes to an unbeatable relaxing ambience for you to savour and enjoy.
Barra Reef Resort accommodation
4 x self-catering stone villas. The villas have two bedrooms with 5 single beds, kitchen, shower with hot and cold water and separate toilet.
5 x self-catering timber double story A frame chalets with lovely sundeck overlooking coconut palms. These chalets have 2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds & veranda with 2 beds, kitchen and shower / toilet.
All stone villas & A frame chalets are equipped with a stove, fridge, linen, mosquito nets, basic crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Towels are not supplied.
4 x Casitas along the dunes overlooking a prestine beach and magnificent blue sea. Here we have 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 beds on the veranda. a Kitchen , shower and toilet. Llinen and mosquito nets are supplied. Please supply your own towels.
5 x Drifters Casitas also situated along the dunes overlooking our beautiful beach and magnificent blue sea. Here we have 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds divided in the center by a bathroom with a shower/toilet. Linen and mosquito nets are supplied, towels are not. All five the Casitas share a communal kitchen with gas burners, fridge and freezer. No cutlery or crockery.
Divers Lodge :
Each room will sleep 2 pax. the unit has it's own communal kitchen and separate ablutions for ladies and gents. Linen and mosquito nets are supplied. Towels are not supplied.

Barra Reef Divers are a Dive Charter and Dive school that offer world-class diving, internationally recognized scuba courses and a host of other water sport activities.
We operate from Barra Reef Resort, which is situated on the borders of Inhambane bay and the town of Tofo. The team consists of qualified and highly experienced instructors, dive masters and skippers with a zest for life.
Coral reefs are scattered all over the sea bottom in the close vicinity of the very protected launching site and varies from only a view meters to over 40 meters deep and therefore cater for the beginner as well as the advanced diver! This is the divers chance to indulge him/herself in coral reef diving "par excelance" and to experience the sight of huge Mata rays, whale sharks, enormous moray eels, vigorous game fish, massive potato basses and even an opportunity to meet Mr. whale shark eye to eye.
Nowhere else in Mozambique are Mantas so common and it is no wonder that the Inhambane coast is lately being called, the Manta coast!
