Archipelago Sun Resort Holiday

This was the greatest stay ever. We left via Kruger National Park through the Giriyondo gate and reached the resort within 1 day, after having stopped over one night just after Xai-Xai. Archipelago is the best, and the closest to Mauritius you will find. We spent a whole week there and had plenty of fun. We went out on a Dhow trip to the Island, where we went snorkling through Dolphin Dhow Safaris .... and they were fantastic. They offered the most wonderful "boat/island" lunch which included grey fish, mussels, crab, calamari and prawn. They were very helpfull in the snorkling area as this was our first time.....but needless to say, we got the hang of it straight away. The staff and management at Archipelago was fantastic in their service, hospitality and couldn't have looked after us any better. Management would invite us for drinks over at the Deck bar, and they're Tipotinto and orange juice/lime juice blend is GREAT! We went into town the next day to buy some as it's the nicest local rum you have ever tasted. Archipelago Resort is beautifully looked after and has the most beautiful scenery and views onto the lagoon stretching for miles and miles ....... safe, clean as can be but just beautiful. Ideal for first time Mozambique visitors, snorklers ... families who wants to have fun and not worry about security. The staff comes in every morning, cleaning the chalet and even offer to braai freshly caught fish from the beach, to be ready for when you return after you're days excursions..... better service you will not find anywhere else.
Definately a resort we as a family will be going to again year after year ....
